Today will be a day of celebration after the ride and tomorrow a long coach journey back to the UK, I’m not sure there will be enough time to update on what is sure to be a fabulous ride through Paris, but I promise I will do soon.
For now, my Blog picture is of Notre Dame Cathedral, here in Paris. A few year ago it was nearly destroyed by fire, perfect one day and in ruins the next. From talking to people with Leukaemia and my own experiences with Simon, this is what happens to your life and the lives of everyone around you when Blood Cancer strikes, one day your life is perfect, the next day it is ruins.
Notre Dame is being rebuild, and Cure Leukaemia is rebuilding lives, but both only happen from the generosity of people. In France wealthy people, corporations, everyday Mums and dads, sons an daughters have donated to rebuild their iconic Church. in the UK Wealthy people, corporations, everyday Mums and dads, sons an daughters have donated to help families by donating to Cure Leukaemia who providing funding for TAPs nurses. Please be one of those people who give something, be it £100 or £1, give something to restore someone’s chances of life and give a family another opportunity to hug their loved ones.
