Back in October last year I announced that I would be riding with the Tour21 Team in a challenge to raise £1,000,000 for Cure Leukaemia. Well that challenge is about to start, tomorrow I leave for Copenhagen, and then its the 21 Stages of the Tour De France route, and if I make it … I’ll be in Paris on the 17th July.
Tomorrow at 2:30pm I leave the Solihull office of Cure Leukaemia on the Tour21 Bus. We will take an overnight ferry to Holland and then a long drive to northern Germany, ready for the final leg to Copenhagen on Friday morning. Once there, thanks to www.followmychallenge.com you will be able to follow my progress by clicking this button, please share with friends.
As I ride the stages of the Tour de France, I will be driven by the memories of so many wonderful experiences and the amazing people I have met since starting this journey. Thank you for your words of encouragement and thank you for your advice. I would especially like to thank everyone who has donated so far, not just to me, but the whole team. As a team we have reached £610,000, individually I have raised £16,000, still a long way to go for us all but with 3 weeks of riding ahead we stand an excellent chance of reaching that £1,000,000 target.
